Motocross riders around the country are set to clash on the first leg of the Mx Messiah Fairgrounds’ (MMF) Amateur Motocross Championship 10-leg series tomorrow, 8am at Club Manila East, Taytay, Rizal.
Host Xtreme Adrenaline Sports Entertainment will formally open the ten-leg series for the six category extreme sports event, the Amateur Open Production, Local Enduro class A and B, Underbone class A and B, Kids 65 and kids 50.
MMF sets the amateur production class to riders who have not yet joined races higher than the novice class as the executive category is for interested motocross athletes with 40 years of age and above. Double entry is prohibited. Riders may only register either to class A or B in both Underbone and Local Enduro.
Riders who are unable to commit on the championship series are still allowed to join the individual races. Disqualifications are to be observed within the first three races. There will be no more disqualification of Rider/motorcycle in the fourth race onwards.
Underbone Open Class A and Local Enduro Open champions are to bring home a brand new Honda XRM as cash prizes and trophies await the top three winners of the competition. On the other hand, the fourth and fifth placers are to receive consolation prizes.
Meanwhile, tune-up winners Bryant Villaroman and Neil Lim of the Underbone A and Local Enduro Open A, respectively, are expected to maintain their standings and dominate the race tomorrow.
Rider Randy Dayao secured first place in both Underbone B and Local Enduro B as amateur open production titlist Bomvet Santos almost grasped first in two more categories but remained second best in the Underbone A and Local Enduro Open A.
