It can seem impossible at times to put back together the shattered pieces of this life. Yet, in the midst of great disrepair, there is always hope – hope to restore.
The same all-powerful God written in the Bible is the Lord we seek in prayers today. He is all about building up what has been torn down – faith, relationships, identity and self-confidence.
Romans 8:18 – I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
None of the stories of the past, even of the present, will be enough to compare His future glory. God is just. He is able.
With what I had gone through, I know God was mighty to make me understand the essence of His grace and the steepness of my weakness. That apart from Him, whether i gain pride or fame on earth or not, I am still nothing. I would be lost and useless.
Within a year of strife, He made me realize how a wretched like me desperately needs His unending mercy.
Thank you, Lord.
I know that after this day I have nothing to hold back.
In you, there is restoration.
